Kyle at the NCAAs in Boise

Here is Kyle with (from left): Scott Fletcher, Jason Kreizenbeck and Joel Kalberer. They all got to go to the first round of the NCAA Men's Tournament in Boise in March. They had a good time and stayed up WAY to late they whole time. I think they found they're not quite 18 anymore. I know Kyle really enjoyed catching up with his boys.

They're "singin' in the rain, just singin' in the rain!"

We had a little thunderstorm recently and Lexi and Nash INSISTED that they be able to "dance in the rain." So here they are...in all their glory. As a side note, mostly to explain why Nash is wearing his swimming trunks and sun shirt, this particular day was over 70 degrees, so before this, the kids had been dumping water over one another's head, as well as their friend, Kelsey, and her brother, Blake's, heads as well. Good times were had by all.

The Lime Slimer!

Lexi is now playing soccer for an all-girls team called "The Lime Slime!" She's really having a lot of fun and, in typical Lexi fashion, runs around with a smile on her face the WHOLE time!

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Kyle took Lexi to a Daddy-Daughter dance at our gym on the night before Valentine's Day. They had a great time!

The Toothless Wonder

Here is the picture of Lexi missing her teeth that I have been promising to post! Isn't she cute!?!?

Spokane, BC

I overheard Lexi and Kyle talking yesterday. The following is a transcript of their conversation.

Lexi: Hey, Daddy, can we go to Spokane, BC?

Kyle: Spokane, BC? Where's that?

Lexi: You know, where President Barack Obama's going to live?!

Kyle: You mean Washington, DC?

Lexi: Yeah, Spokane, Washington, BC.

And they thought naming the state "Washington" instead of "Columbia" would cut down on the confusion. Clearly, these problems start young.

New Year, New Stuff

Nash was very excited about every gift. He's at such
a fun age for Christmas now.
As you can see, Lexi LOVED her new dollhouse and she really
does play with it everyday.

Here we are on Christmas. The kids had a ball - but Lexi had Fifth Disease (a head-to-toe rash!). We were seriously lazy - we didn't get out of a 'jamas all day. Hope yours was grand too!
