Christmas Decor

This is the view from our great room up to
the second level where all of our bedrooms are.
Here is our Christmas tree in the corner of the great room.

Here is the mantle where "the
stocking [are] hung by the chimney with care."

Here are some pics of our house all decorated for Christmas! Happy Holidays, everyone!

Fall in Ohio

One of our neighbors carved a Scooby-Doo jack-o-latern, so
Nash got to pose with it!
Lexi & Nash on Halloween. Nash was really sick, but luckily it was unseasonable warm so he got
to go trick-or-treating.

This is one of the trees in our backyard! I loved to see it's bright red color!

We had such a gorgeous Fall season here in Ohio! Here are a few pics and some of the kids on Halloween!

We love the Columbus Zoo!

Lexi and Nash at the petting zoo. You can feed some of the animals here.

They do love those peguins.

We became members at the Columbus Zoo within a week of moving here and have really put that membership to good use. I think we've been to the zoo 7 times in the three months we've lived here. It's about 10 minutes from our house and the kids love to go, even if we only go for a couple of hours. That's the best part of being members and living so close; if someone has a meltdown (usually Mom) we can just head home and not feel like we've wasted any time or money. The kids love the elephants, rhinoceros, and kangaroos. Their other favorites are the tigers, lions and peguins. If you ever come to visit, we'd love to show you around!

First Days of School

Lexi at her first kindergarten story time.
Lexi rode the bus home the first day and loved it!
Kyle came home early so he could see her come home.

Nash is such a big boy now that he goes to preschool!!!

The kids are both in school and loving it! Lexi is in kindergarten and is in Mrs. Oehler's class at Indian Springs Elementary School. She is already learning so much. This morning, I was talking to Nash about stop signs and she proudly informed me that "a stop sign is an octagon, Mama!" My little girl is growing up! Nash is in preschool at our gym, LifeTime Fitness. He really loves his teacher, Miss Lindsey. Both kids go on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays so I have a little free time to work out or grocery shop. It's nice since we don't know any sitters yet, but we're working on it. Life is good!

Yes, I'm still here...just had some camera crises!

Lexi's Missing Tooth
Kyle and the kids at Mt Rushmore on
our journey East. Lexi & Nash at Nash 4th birthday party
The kids at our gym's pool on Labor Day
We've had some issues with our camera (i.e., Nash dropping it on concrete and breaking it) but now they are resolved. Here are some recent pics of the kids. Lexi even lost her first tooth 2 weeks ago. She got 2 dollars from the Tooth Fairy. Seems her rates have gone up due to inflation! Didn't we get a quarter in our day?

Ahhhh...they DO like each other!

Just wanted to make sure I knew how to upload a picture! Looks like they love each other in this one. If only they were this way all the time. This was taken in Spokane shortly before we moved.

We're in Ohio....and doing fine!

Just so that no one is worried, we made it to Ohio on the 19th of June and have been frantically trying to get our house in order before school starts here on the 20th of August. We will have pictures posted soon, we promise,....just as soon as we find all the connecting wires for our camera!! We love and miss you all! Come visit us anytime!
